Tour overview

Four out of the seven species of sea turtles in the world arrive to the Salvadoran coasts. All threatened and endangered, returning year after year to the same beach where they born, to lay their eggs.

Join us for a truly special experience as we help release baby sea turtles on the beaches of El Salvador! See these tiny little creatures take their first flaps toward the ocean, continuing a natural cycle that has lasted millions of years. With only one in a thousand making it to adulthood, you’ll be part of their precious journey to survival.

Once harvested as delicacies, sea turtle eggs are now protected by local communities who run conservation projects and hatcheries. By joining us, you’ll support their efforts while creating unforgettable memories with your family and friends. This is an ideal experience for families with kids.

After this wonderful moment, we’ll enjoy a delicious Salvadoran breakfast to gain energy before heading to Tamanique. There, we’ll take a pleasant walk through lush forests to reach a series of stunning waterfalls and crystal-clear pools, great to swim and jump in.
Back at the coast, you’ll have options to enjoy the delicacies of the region in the local restaurant of your choice (meals not included).

By booking this tour you support one of the most sustainable experiences I offer, as most of what you pay goes directly to local conservation projects, family-run businesses and communities on Surf City / La Libertad coastline.

THE HATCHING SEASON LAST TILL JANUARY.
