Don’t you hate spending time on long layovers while you should be enjoying your travel instead? Such a waste of time! Hours on those uncomfortable seats… Specially in airports where food, drinks and even Internet services are often overpriced and with little options for keeping your kids entertained. San Salvador International Airport is not exception.
Now you can take short trips from the airport as the best way to spend some hours doing fun stuff like short hikes, beach time on the warm waters of the Pacific, domestic craft beer tasting or exploring the city and the local culture, its museums, archeological sites and other cultural spots. Or eating with the locals!
All the routes and destinations have been tested to fit in most of layovers time window.
Most of the featured options are suitable for kids: playful workshops, the beach, public parks, the volcano or Tin Marín, the children’s museum with a cool planetarium!
Welcome to El Salvador. Enjoy your staying!
IMPORTANT NOTE
According COVID-19 new regulations, all passengers in transit willing to leave airport’s facilities must pay a tax of near US$28.00 per person (some nationalities pay an extra US$10.00 tourist card). This tax is not included in tour’s price and is only payable at the airport and present a printed copy of PCR Test, issued at least 72 hours before arrival. Please check with your airline or travel agent.
